IBM’s Watson has been busy since becoming a Jeopardy Champion back in 2011. Recently IBM gathered a group of experts from various fields to discuss the computing system has helped put them on the cutting edge of their industry. I was honored to be asked to come speak about the work we have been doing at ICE with the ‘Chef Watson’ system. I had the opportunity to discuss what challenges face Chefs in the creative process and how working with Watson has augmented my own creativity, sharing some of my own research on the science of flavor.
