This might be the busiest, most exciting, most chaotic week of our lives but we’re not calling down to Sammy’s Noodle Shop for dinner. Crazy? Maybe. Kung Pao chicken and spring rolls would be any sane person’s answer to a book launch, ‘live’ morning television and a Google speaking gig…
Instead, we’re taking on a challenge.
Woman’s Day magazine was inspired by our Sunday Supper posts, those “3-in-1” beauties that begin with a base recipe and then are transformed each night with a little creativity, fresh produce and interesting spices.
They’ve challenged us to do an Oprah-esque “makeover:” three Woman’s Day recipes must become six different dinners. We’ve got pork. We’ve got beef. We’ve got pasta. What’ll our tiny West Village kitchen come up with this time?
All I can say is, our refrigerator is stuffed, we’re happy and we’re ready to take on the week (we think…)!
