Les Itineraires needs to be a part of your “flaneur” existence in Paris. Don’t know what that is? A flaneur is an only-in-Paris kind of character who wanders, idles and considers themselves a “connoisseur of the street.” Beauty and leisure time for their own sake. Start along the narrow streets of Ile St. Louis, taking in the architecture and the jewel-box boutiques. Walk the belly of the island and then cross over to the Left Bank. In a wonderful position just off the Seine, you’ll find Les Itineraires. A lovelier lunch spot we couldn’t imagine. The sophisticated dining room with soft lighting and a view of the back kitchen serves a super modern bistro menu that takes the diner out of their comfort zone- but in the best way. Our meals have been both thoughtful and playful. And there’s no better deal in town than their 40 Euro prix fixe lunch.
