It’s my birthday- I have to write about champagne, prosecco, cava, txakoli and all those bubbles that make me so, so happy…

A flute for you, a flute for me. And can you guess the trick? The crimson pomegranate seeds aren’t just for be-jeweling and bedazzling the bubbles with their gorgeous color and burst of tart and sweet. They’re also keeping my birthday champagne ice-cold.

How?

I placed a tray of seeds in the freezer for one hour and voila!

I drop them into my flute while I nibble on birthday cake and talk to my Mom… and then while I decorate our Christmas tree… and then while I force Jamie to give me a birthday back rub 🙂

My champagne is chill and so am I (at least for today).
