Date Night: Hot, Sexy Food!

It’s been cold- freeze an egg on the sidewalk kind of cold.

But that’s a good thing. Because there’s nothing more that you (and we, of course) like to do in these bitter, cold months than cook together and EAT.

For three nights this week, we’ve hosted wonderful, warm, culi-curious (isn’t that a great word?) groups of couples who know how to dig in. I mean, these people weren’t shy. They were smeared in bacon fat and flour as they sipped Mionetto cocktails and really got their hands dirty. Whether Jamie was frying up schnitzel in the Whole Hog & Bourbon workshop or we were rolling out long, tissue-thin sheets of fresh egg pasta for parmesan ravioli in our Romantic Italy class, everyone was happy and wanted moremore bubbly, more to cook, more to learn, more to experience in the kitchen.

Here’s to cooking through these long, dark months and then dreaming up spring menus, summer cocktails, beach barbecues…
